One of my favorite work tools is Simplenote, which is also an Automattic product. Therefore, I would like to ask if the team has thought of any integration between it and P2. Anyone who uses P2 as a business or educational tool can take great advantage of this interaction.
I would like to ask the team to provide the string “replies”, which appears when we enter a specific topic page, for translation:
off: have mentions been disabled here?
After the initial awkwardness, I started to understand and like the new toolbar (in fact, the P2 design team is extraordinary, as it was the P2 layout that made me understand the block editor), but I think the message that appears to normal members of a site somewhat confused and negative:
Most people, at least initially, will understand that the site is the Space, not the Home. It wouldn’t be better just something like: “You have access to this space.”
Since the layout change, two small improvements need to be made to the pages: the expression “Pages” must be available for translation and the update log must follow the site rules regarding dates.
Since yesterday, there is a problem with the interaction between the paragraph and image blocks. Before, when I clicked “Align left” in an image above a text, the text went to the left of the image, as can be seen here:
Now nothing is happening.
In the back end editor everything is normal.
@jonburke, could you ask those responsible for the translation where I find the strings for “Collapse thread” and “Expand thread”? I looked for them to help with the translation into my language, but I couldn’t find them.
P2 has two very interesting blocks for professional use, one is the PDF block, and the other is the Custom HTML block. The first can be used both in the initial post of a topic and in the comments; the second can only be in the initial post.
In order to use storage capacity more rationally, I would like to ask that the use of the Custom HTML block was also possible in the comments, because, with it, it is possible to share heavier documents hosted on Google Drive (or even files with other media, such as audio).
